Your Role

Even today, Jan De Nul Group faces major challenges in civil engineering!

As a Project Accountant, you take care of the execution and follow-up of the accounting on construction sites from A to Z. You are responsible for all aspects of the accounting. You will be employed on a challenging multi-year project in Flanders.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily statutory accounting;
  • Posting invoices and linking them to corresponding vouchers;
  • Posting bank statements;
  • Preparing payment lists and forwarding them;
  • Preparing VAT returns;
  • Preparing the balance sheet and income statement.

What do you need?

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting and Taxation, and several years of relevant work experience is a plus. You are analytical and precise. You take initiative and have a critical eye. Complex dossiers are a challenge for you, and you have a strong eagerness to learn. You enjoy working independently and are stress-resistant. You are flexible to travel to construction sites. Finally, you communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
