Education: Degree in engineering or equivalent.

Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch.

Relevant Experiences:

• 5 years of supervision experience in Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry
• Leadership experience for the management of external resources
• Broad interdisciplinary knowledge
• Extended HSE and GxP/QA knowledge

Responsible for performance of technical solutions. In projects time, cost and quality of discipline work assigned, ensures technical project quality and usage of best practices. Impact on availability, efficiency and compliance of Production plants. High impact on life cycle costs of Production Plants and subsequently on COGS.

Major Accountabilities

Maintenance & Calibration:

• Get permits for projects
• Execute FMEA and define the maintenance type for each asset; assess equipment criticality (HML)
• Create / maintain / verify engineering documents (protocols, drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations, datasheets)

Project Engineering

• Perform Project Risk Assessment
• Prepare Project Initiation Documents (Project Charter (PC), Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), Project Scope Statement (PSS)
• Develop Project Sourcing Strategy
• Identify technical solutions
• Prepare project procurement plan, perform project tendering and procurement
• Perform project HSE management & execute project safety stops/reviews
• Perform project reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review (TQR), constructability)
• Develop Project Commission Plan / Strategy
• Establish Project Change Management & manage changes
• Submit Project Statutory Permits
• Prepare Equipment Specifications and System Requirements in project (e.g. User Requirement Specification)
• Develop Project Execution Plan (e.g. construction)
• Prepare / execute Project Health & Safety Risk Assessments (Equipment / Process)
• Prepare Functional Specifications in project
• Prepare, review and approve drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations and datasheets in project
• Issues orders / contracts based on Project Technical Specifications and Bills of Quantities
• Expedite and manage project vendors / contractors / 3rd parties in project
• Develop test specification / plan for commissioning & qualification in projects
• Execute project construction execution (CM & installation supervision)
• Perform new equipment FAT / SAT / inspections in project
• Implement and monitor construction contractor safety and inspection plan
• Execute work orders for projects as per method statement
• Perform commission activities
• Manage project deficiencies and deviations
• Develop project execution strategy and execute investment projects according to customer needs (costs, schedule, functionality, quality)
