???? Position: Support Program Management Office (PMO) – Safety Program

???? Location: Brussels (up to 3 days/week home office)

???? Full-time | ???? Duration: 12 months, renewable up to 24 months

???? Start date: Early May

???? Context

Within the framework of a major strategic program aimed at improving safety on railway worksites, a leading public organization is reinforcing its Program Management Office (PMO). The program focuses on identifying and preventing safety risks, supporting the deployment of new technologies such as ETCS, digitalization, and automation.

???? Main Responsibilities

As a PMO, you will act as a key strategic partner to the Program Manager by:

  • Supporting the creation of project roadmaps, planning, and business cases
  • Co-managing a number of projects: follow-up on scope, timelines, budget, benefits, quality
  • Preparing and coordinating reporting for senior stakeholders (Sponsor, COO, Excom, Board)
  • Developing and implementing methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Promoting project culture and supporting organizational change initiatives

???? Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in PMO or program/project management
  • Strong command of tools: MS Project / Online, Power BI, budget planning tools
  • Solid knowledge of budget tracking (CAPEX/OPEX), change management, and project/program/portfolio frameworks
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Languages: Fluent French and Dutch required; English is a plus

Your Profile

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience
  • Structured, proactive, and result-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable in complex, institutional environments
  • Able to interact with senior management
  • PM certifications (Prince2, PMP, IPMA...) are a strong asset
