The Project Manager Aftersales (NL/FR) at SAUTER Belgium plays a crucial role in providing technical expertise and guidance to our valued customers in order to recommend and implement optimal services packages for the maintenance of their HVAC controls systems, BMS and Energy Management. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, customer relationship management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager Aftersales, your key responsibilities include:

  • Regularly engaging with our clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any needs.
  • Presenting additional services such as energy services, remote maintenance and predictive controls.
  • Diligently managing administrative tasks related to contracts, planning, and providing support to the administration team.
  • Execute ’routine’ service tasks, including remote assistance, first-line support, quick checks, and preventive maintenance.
  • Staying updated on energy legislation, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform decision-making.
  • Offering expert advice to clients regarding system optimisation and upgrades, and effectively presenting available options for their consideration.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation, HVAC, energy, or equivalent through experience.
  • Strong HVAC knowledge, including hydraulics, air handling, PLC/DDC systems, etc.
  • Demonstrated interest in Energy Efficiency.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical role (e.g., project engineer, project manager, service engineer) with a background in offices, hospitals, hotels, etc.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills.
  • Active listener and persuasive communicator, adept at adapting to a diverse range of stakeholders, from technicians to C-level executives.
  • Experience with Energy Management systems is a notable asset.
