Responsibilities

  • As Project Manager, your first task is to actively promote a culture of Health & Safety first.
  • Management of Mechanical safe systems of work.
  • To take full responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of the project’s mechanical packages.
  • Management of multi-discipline trades.
  • Working with a commercial team to manage the project budget.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure full compliance with the site safety and quality plans.
  • Weekly and monthly reports produced for the client team highlighting progress and key issues.
  • Keeping detailed site records via a daily diary.
  • Assisting in the review of client changes and providing positive technical input.
  • To offer build ability advice and value engineering solutions.
  • Driving the commissioning program and process.
  • Attending commissioning activities to ensure compliance with the employer’s requirements.
  • Leading the review of all relevant handover information alongside the operational teams.
  • To identify challenges and offer solutions.
  • To chair regular project meetings with the supply chain and client teams

Requirements

  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Have a thorough understanding of M&E systems.
  • Patient and composed under pressure. / Project/package management experience a must.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Fluent in English and / or French
