Treexoffice in Brussels - Ixelles (very easy to reach by public transport, close to Etterbeek station). Tuesday is office day+ site visits (+/- 1.5 days/week) + homeworking (depending on the total week schedule)

Project manager

Treex is an independent advisory office specialized in the technical due diligence of buildings, both in terms of their construction and their technical installations. In addition, we are specialized in the complete follow-up of construction or renovation projects.

Function:

The project management mission includes:

• Analysis of the constraints, demands and objectives of the client
• Development of programs and their budgets
• Development of the planning
• Development of the strategy to achieve the client’s objectives
• Establishment of project teams and consultant selection processes (engineers, architects, security coordinators, etc.)
• Coordination of information collection and studies
• Facilitation and coordination of work meetings with the consulting teams
• Facilitation and coordination of work meetings with the client
• Management of the communication with the inhabitants of the buildings concerned by the project.
• Coordination of invitations to tender with companies
• Periodic site visits to verify:
• The quality of work
• The respect of the deadlines given to the building site
• The respect of safety rules
• Periodic site meetings with the companies and project developers to review:
• The quality of the construction work
• The respect of the deadlines given to the building site and the safety rules
• The respect towards budget
• Follow-up of possible modifications
• The progress of the studies, in order not to slow down the good progress of the building site.
• Elaboration of meeting minutes / reports / memos at regular intervals
• Analysis and approval of progress reports, accounts and invoices from companies and consultants
• Participation in the acceptance of works, follow-up of the withdrawal of remarks
• Coordination of the creation of AS BUILT files
• Any other task necessary to achieve the project objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ·Degree related to this job, such as (but not limited to) Architect, Engineer stability or special techniques, surveyor, or demonstrating a solid and good technical background, supported by proven references.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, administrative skills
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English spoken and knowledge of standard IT tools
• An uncompromising ethical code and a lot of curiosity, creativity of mind, initiative and a sense of adventure
