To reinforce our Proposal Center of Excellence we are currently looking for a Proposal Coordinator.

You will work together with the Pursuit Coach to provide strategic and operational leadership on Consulting’s largest and most strategic proposals. Your main focus will be:

  • Supervising and facilitating proposal activities throughout the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle for sales opportunities (Get to Green, Pre-RFP, RFP response/proposal development, Supplier Presentations and Post-Presentation)
  • Engage and drive collaboration between numerous proposals and leadership stakeholders and the client service delivery team to create compelling and differentiated selling propositions for our clients
  • Identify knowledge gaps, critical challenges and possible risks for the sales opportunity whilst working proactively with other key internal functions such as QRM and Delivery Excellence to attain the utmost quality of our offering

You will make an impact that matters through other activities too:

  • Manage proposals to strengthen proposal capability across the proposal lifecycle and drive a higher win rate on key opportunities
  • Assist the Proposal Coach and client service team in crafting a compelling value proposition, winning messages, and a differentiated strategy for the specific opportunity
  • Develop and own the proposal plan (in conjunction with the client service pursuit lead), establish key milestones and deliverables, and monitor assignments through the establishment of a proposal SharePoint site
  • Provide oversight and quality review for proposal and presentation documents, design approach, risk reviews, and ensure strategic messaging is represented in all deliverables
  • Bring best practices from other proposals and extended proposal networks to assist in closing content gaps
  • Collaborate with others to support production of printed and/or multi-media materials
  • Assist and support select learning and development initiatives to build and enhance Deloitte’s sales excellence capabilities across the firm

Let’s Talk About You

  • At least 6 years sales pursuit and proposal development experience, preferable
  • Experience working with, collaborating, and building consensus with stakeholders at executive levels, as well as management/middle management stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills: able to work independently and maintain excellent quality control over the milestones and deliverables
  • Proven ability to address and manage conflict
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintain composure and be flexible
  • Highly pro-active, self-starter
  • Experience with national and/or global consulting organizations is a plus, same as former Consulting client service backgrounds
