The 3D Product Specialist is a key player in the virtual twin creation process and the real-world use cases. His/her main responsibility is to verify product correctness of the virtual twin, adhering to our internal UDM standard. This typically includes also the variant logic definition and the final quality assurance before the model handover to staging team or to external partners.

As 3D Product Specialist you are a central stakeholder to ensure product correctness across various experiences, working with multiple project teams around the globe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Guide the entire build-up process from data input to approval of the virtual twin.
  • Gather and consolidate all relevant product information to ensure product correct information.
  • Checking the configurations with respect to qualify, defined product correctness and product logic of all deliverables.
  • Reporting progress and status to internal stakeholders (Project Manager, Team Manager, etc.).
  • Supporting Project Managers with timeline and effort creation.
  • Interacting with customer and lead approval sessions.

Qualifications/Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills: must be able to define problems, be detail oriented, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Highly self-motivated, positive attitude with strong work ethics, integrity and a strong level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently within a global collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, organization and project management skills
  • Knowledge of 3D Software applications is mandatory.
