Account Manager BelgiumThe Trimble Transport and Logistics business unit, of which the operational and development teams are located in Ieper and Leuven, is looking for an Account Manager to join the sales team and support us in expanding our business activities in Belgium.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales in Belgium. You will be reporting to the Sales Director BeLu.
Responsibilities
Farming (70 %)
Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
Identify upsell or cross-sell potential at our customers and follow up appropriate using our CRM tool (Salesforce)
Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed targets
Plan and manage personal business portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy
Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ commercial and individual needs
Report on the status of accounts and transactions to the Project Manager
Support marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, advertising, webinars and exhibitions
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Hunting (30 %)
Prospect and close new opportunities in the area of transport & logistic service providers
Identify new leads and follow up as appropriate using our CRM tools
Support marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
Collect and analyse market related information
Profile
Minimum 3 Years Of Relevant Sales Experience In B2B
Ability to analyse and match customer needs with our solutions
Excellent communication and negotiations skills
Knowledge of CRM software (salesforce) is a pro
Strong customer focused and a team player
Demonstrate success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
A very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is essential.
Experience in transport & logistics sector is an advantage
Experience in sales
