Functie
Today we are looking for an Accounting Manager. Are you up for it? Are you? • People Manager? • Solution-oriented? • Hands-on? • Structured? Yes? You, as an Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of multiple accountants. You will manage and coach them to improve their performances and to set up the structure they need. You will be accountable for the compliance with local & group regulation. The primary contact of the finance managers, CFO’s and controlling team, will be you. Your accountabilities will mainly be: • The end responsibility for all compliance matters for the region. (financial statements, tax returns,…) • Preparing and reviewing monthly group reporting packaging • Close collaboration with the controlling team. • Achieving operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans & review. • Avoiding legal challenges because of your understanding of current & proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations and recommending new procedures. • Ensuring close collaboration with group accounting.
Je profiel
What we are looking for in you: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar work experience. • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting. • A strong comprehension of local, federal and company regulations. (Be, Lux, Ch) • Experience with managing a team. Coaching, motivating to improve performances are your second nature. • A good understanding of finance principles. • External audit experience and/or SAP/S4 experience are strong assets. • Full professional proficiency of English required. Good base of Dutch & French. Knowledge of Italian or German is a plus. • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
