As Account Receivable Officer, you will be part of an international finance team of AXA Partners located in Brussels.

You will manage the AR and policy processes with your colleagues and more specifically for defined clients’ portfolio.

The scope of responsibilities can evolve within the group organization.

Dimensions of role:

  • On-boarding of new client and/or portfolio
  • Ensure process documentation
  • Participation in the management of a client portfolio
  • Execute daily processes
  • Several contacts with external (clients, insured) and internal stakeholders (AP, AR, IT, ABS)

Key responsibilities:

  • Transmission and follow-up of debt files towards our policyholders
  • Payment of premiums
  • Support in drawing up reports on the follow-up of claims
  • Telephone answering of the dedicated line.
  • Responding to customer requests (by e-mail, fax or post).
  • Encoding of endorsements on insurance contracts
  • Checking and validating file documents prepared by our Indian subsidiary.
  • Follow-up of the allocation of collections by our Indian subsidiary

Skills and experience:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in insurance/finance or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a similar function is an asset
  • Ideally, you are familiar with the insurance sector or have an interest in it
  • Knowledge of an ERP is an asset (ideally PeopleSoft)
  • You are bilingual: Dutch - French. Knowledge of English is an asset
  • You have a good command of MS Office, mainly Excel
  • You have good analytical (data computing) and communication (customers facing) skills
  • You have a good sense of organisation and know how to manage your priorities
  • You are a team player and should be able to work independently
  • You are flexible and put the customer first
