Mission

  • Elaborate the technical specification of automation projects and RFQ (Request for quotation), green and brown field projects, including ; architecture, equipment, interfaces, design, etc.
  • Participate in the technical proposal analysis and negotiation for the automation projects.
  • Manage the automation project implementation together with suppliers; elaborate and validate the time scheduling/resources, follow-up of the service, start-up and ramp-up, assure the target performance after the implementation.
  • Participate in S&S automation community and develop the industry 4.0’s automation competency in S&S perimeter, promoting the exchange of the good practices and best solutions.
  • Connect the all sites to the competence center using remote access through engineering station.
  • Increase the automation skills of the local maintenance team through training and sharing the automation knowledge across all S&S sites.
  • Solve the difficulties automation problem in locus, when the local team is not able to solve it.
  • Implement technical solutions and improvement (using PLC, Edge Controller, sensor and etc) and create the basis for further development (MES, predictive maintenance, quality, safety and etc), reducing the R&M cost and improving the T1 and T2 OEE performance.

Profile

  • Strong knowledge in industrial safety rules and rigide disciplinary to respect the safety and environmental standard /rules.
  • Education in automation engineering and proven experience in automation project implementation.
  • Large experience in differents PLC languages, sensors and able to interview in algorithm to solve problem or create solutions.
  • Professional able to make the automation project engineering and maintenance in automation equipments, on spirit of hands on.
  • Good english communication and enough to manage the project and discuss with the suppliers and local maintenance team. Others languages are interesting ; Italian, Portuguese, German, French, Spanish etc.
  • Relationship and leadership are key characteristic to have success on this position.
  • Good personal organization and capacity to drive an structured follow-up process.
