I’m currently working with a manufacturing company, focused on the production of unique filtration materials for their clients, who are looking for looking for an experienced engineer to help take on leadership responsibilities within the PLC/SCADA team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and configure PLC & SCADA systems.
  • Take a lead role in the installation of new production lines & modernisation/optimisation of the older production lines.
  • Work towards industry 4.0 & digitalisation for the production site.
  • Ensure the continued running of existing lines, through troubleshooting and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a technical bachelor’s degree.
  • Over 3 years of experience as an automation engineer, with technical capability in the use of PLCs & SCADA.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs & WinCC.
  • Interest in IT/OT.
