The thought of a new challenge is appealing to you and you want to join a fast-growing company? We have something great to propose you! As a consultant you will join our Automotive team already involved in more than 30 countries.

2. The role:

The Embedded Systems Hardware team plays a critical role in the development of Automotive E/E Systems. Utilizing top-notch development methods, we develop transmission control units and other auxiliary electric/electronic systems for automatic transmissions. You will work in activities such as:

  • Investigate and find root cause of electronics design / Integration with Sensors and actuators / Integration with transmission and car / Transmission test systems
  • Electronics design: Review schematics; judge robustness of physical implementation

You will have to work on site in Sint-Truiden Belgium. Occasionally a business trip can be requested.

4. Requirements:

We are not looking for the candidate that ticks all the boxes, but if you find yourself in the following sentences then we would be glad to have a chat with you!

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
  • You have in depth knowledge and experience in the field of electronics development from concept phase to series production.
  • Experience with electronics circuit debugging, finding issues, performing root cause analysis, lead 8D teams.
  • Performing EMC tests, analysing reports, simulating electrical pulses according the automotive standards.
  • Hands on: Using test & measurement equipment for circuit measurements, soldering, operate electronics test systems, CANape, understand the vehicle architecture.
  • Experience in automotive industry is a plus.
  • Experience with electronics verification, environmental testing (ISO 16750), reliability tests is a plus.
  • Thanks to your strong communication skills and good knowledge of English, you excel at teamwork and are strong in reporting knowledge and results.
  • You are an independent, perseverant and systematic worker with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
