What success looks like in this role:

• Requirements elicitation and analysis: gather business and stakeholder requirements from legal texts and other documentation and identify the related IT functional and non-functional requirements. This is to be done according to the applicable methodology (a.o. use of EARS syntax) and toolset (EA Sparx);

• Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to ensure that their concerns, requirements, and contribution are included in the requirements specification document;

• Update traceability matrics.

• Analyse & define specifications linked to the integration with other applications and/or technological components;

• Work in collaboration with Enterprise Architect and Solution Architect to design models in a modelling tool based on predefined requirements; and

• Assist with training the administrators and users of the Systems.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree (required) or master’s degree in information systems, computer science engineering or related discipline.
• European studies degree/course(s) is an asset.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT, including 3 years or more as a Business Analyst; and Minimum 2 years of experience in modelling and UML.
• Substantial experience in Business and IT System analysis, and ability to translate business requirements into IT requirements;
• Strong experience in the use of modelling and design tools in Business or IT projects (ARIS, EA, etc.);
• Knowledge of the European legislation is an important added value;
• Knowledge and experience in UML;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Fluent in English, both in writing and in speaking;
• Capacity of writing in a clear and concise way;
