What are we looking for?
As a Business development manager you are the key figure for our customers and building partners. You are responsible for gaining projects and expanding our market position in Belgium.
Responsibilities:
- You act as a representative between construction projects and AluK, from preparing calculations and quotes to sales and project follow-up in collaboration with our technical team.
- You identify potential projects by maintaining strong relationships with contractors, project developers, and architectural firms, and by organizing various contact moments such as visits, events, conversations, and product training sessions to keep AluK top-of-mind with new and existing customers.
- You manage the portfolio of existing relationships with customers and partners and actively prospect for new collaboration opportunities.
- You identify market trends and commercially translate them into new opportunities by collaborating with the technical and marketing team for optimal solutions.
- You guarantee the correct implementation of the overall business strategy, thus contributing to achieving growth objectives
- You prepare sales reports and follow up projects steps in the CRM

Expertise:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree or commercial/technical vocational training related to construction
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the construction sector in a sales or representative role.
- Network in the construction sector
- Experience with the use of CRM systems and calculation software
- Knowledge of current standards in construction
- Good knowledge of Dutch, French, and English
