About Sortlist:
We are a dynamic start-up which plans to change the global market in terms of marketing and communication, making the best matches with suppliers in the marketing and digital field. Our mission is to create conditions for successful collaborations in the B2B industry. The company is currently present in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Romania, Madagascar & Philippines & plans to scale up its presence around the world.
Sortlist just raised 11M€ , with this Serie B fundraising we have the ambition to continue to grow our team and we’re looking to actively launch our activity in the United Kingdom and the United States. With 120 employees in total, we are planning to double our company size in the coming years and this is already happening. We need your help to get there faster.
What are you going to do?
The Business Managers are the point of contact for the +50 FTE companies. Your main role is to work on the acquisition (inbound and outbound) and retention. The main objective is to provide the highest value for our suppliers.
The missions:
Inbound: the goal is to cover all the incoming requests and get a high conversion rate.
- Cover all the inbound leads in your respective market (inbound calls, inbound leads)
- Prioritise your time by taking the highest score leads first
- Prepare your calls by doing some searches on the company before calling (Google, Linkedin, Company Registration, CRM)
- Calls
- Discovering Calls by using the GAP-BANT (Goals, Action Plans, Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline)
- Be accountable for the most accurate list of recommended providers
- Book meeting slots with the suppliers, and make sure they will be taken.
- Aim for “great business stories” by driving projects owners buying from our providers
Retention: the goal is to gain the loyalty of the companies with recurrent projects.
- Follow up with your leads
- Keep the connections by sharing datas frequently
- Find and connect with other buying personas
- Win back the companies that posted a project in the past
- Getting slots meetings for new projects
Finally, we expect Business Manager to play an important role in:
- Feedbacking regularly the product team about client’s feedbacks
- Working hands in hands with the marketing team and the supply sales team
- Helping with the brand marketing : Negotiating testimonials, google & trustpilot reviews (NPS Score)
What is your profile?
- You have an enormous drive to be successful. You have the flexibility and mentality to find things out for yourself within a young team and make them a success.
- You have 2+ years experience in sales.
- You can work independently and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and Dutch.
- Participating in an international scale-up is your dream!
