A growing Insurance establishment is currently looking to hire a Claims Handler to join their offices in Strombeek-Bever.

Thanks to your experience in Claims, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role within your team and help monitor claims for a varied customer portfolio, from initial declaration to closure.

Your main responsibilities as the new Claims Handler will include:

  • You gather the necessary information on cover, liability and the causal circumstances of the claim
  • You apply the applicable rules and conventions
  • You actively negotiate the claim and defend the client’s interests
  • You keep the insured party informed of the progress of the claim and quantify the damage
  • You will proactively communicate by phone and in writing with all the parties involved

Your profile:

  • You have previous professional experience as Claims Handler, or in a similar role
  • You are familiar with the different claims management processes
  • Experience with the BRIO management software package is considered an asset

Your strengths:

  • Customer-focused, committed, and proactive
  • Comfortable with digital technology and can use new systems quickly and easily
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and a team-player
