For our office in Lommel we are looking for: Commercial Project Manager, Europe

Job overview and key duties:

Reporting to the Key Account Manager, the Commercial Project Manager is responsible to manage all project development activities related to new and existing products and moulds for Europe market. The Project Manager ensures that key deliverables are completed and that projects properly evolves through all product development process stages and gates. This role works in close collaboration with the commercial and the global R&D team.

Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties:

Project Management

  • Lead projects decisional gate meetings
  • Lead new products financial evaluation process
  • Lead discussions with customers to define project scope, timing, deliverables
  • Lead cross functional meetings with project teams (Internal IPL and external with customers)

Scope of Responsibility includes:

  • Become a key player to support CPS EU project management function
  • Become the go to resource for all project management topics related to new products
  • Develop strong synergy with all IPL cross functional teams and customers
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the product development process for Global CPS

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience working in the packaging area is essential
  • Experience managing a variety of new product development projects types
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience with customer engagement/intimacy is a plus
  • Excellent people management skills
