RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and drive recurring compensation processes, e.g. annual merit review, bonus process etc. for responsible countries / sites (BENELUX) incl. preparation of budget proposals for overall board approval
  • Run market data surveys on Comp&Ben topics for specific sites / countries and execute reviews / comparison with other Evonik sites / countries and implement required measures
  • Assure standards and high quality on grading of entire organizations and individual functions, guiding and advising business units and other HR functions on functioning and preparation of gradings incl. being a member of the EMEA Grading Commission
  • Participate in M&A activities (Due Diligence and/or Post-Merger Integration) for Comp&ben topics
  • Participate or lead projects with regards to Compensation, Grading and Benefit topics
  • Participate in set up / development of new HR-IT systems with regards to Comp&Ben topics (e.g. Workday modules)
  • Drive implementation of Comp&Ben policies and advice Regional HR on implementation of new compensation structure/system
  • Initiate and lead or contribute to harmonization projects in compensation with regards to reduction of complexity and process-simplification
  • Global coordination of Sales Job Profiles
  • Support business and/or other units in re-organizations with respect to Comp&Ben & Grading topics
  • Represent Total Rewards towards Employee Representatives / Unions during CBA discussions in responsible countries

REQUIREMENTS
  • University / Post Graduate (Masters Degree) in HR or Business Administration / Finance or similar with at least 5 years of experience in international environment
  • Sound experience in Compensation & Benefit topics on international level, with special experience in the BENELUX countries
  • Good knowledge of HR processes in EMEA region with additional knowledge of labour law and collective bargaining regulations in BENELUX countries, preferably including experience in negotiations with Unions in those countries
  • Language skills: Fluent English and Dutch, French and German desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive thinking
  • Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong skills in Excel; Workday experience desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with different cultures
