Details about the client: Our client, located in Brussels, is an insurance company. With more than 50 years of history, this company is known throughout Belgium. They are currently looking for a Compliance Officer to strengthen their team.

Description


Your Responsibilities - Compliance Officer:

  • You will ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory rules
  • For the compliance risk tasks you will:
    • Identity and assess compliance risk
    • Compliance risk monitoring and testing
    • Compliance risk recommendations and reporting
    • Raising awareness of compliance risk with employees in collaboration with operational departments
  • For the Legislation and regulations tasks you will:
    • Provide guidance
    • Proactively identify relevant developments
    • Verify that implementations and compliance are done correctly
    • Establish guidelines and possible improvements in compliance
  • You will assist management in organizing employee training in the context of compliance
  • You will ensure that complaints are handled correctly and promptly
  • You will be the confidential advisor for the whistleblower policy
  • You will be responsible for the fight against money laundering and responsible for data protection

Profiles


Your Profile - Compliance Officer:

  • You hold a Master degree in Law or Economics
  • You have a previous relevant experience in insurance
  • You speak Dutch. French is an asset
