Our client, a company active in the chemical sector, is looking for an experienced profile to manage its subsidiary located in the south of Brussels.

Responsibilities:

  • You develop and implement business strategies to meet the objectives of shareholders and the Board of Directors.
  • You will present market forecasts and advise the CEO and the Board of Directors on the strategies to be implemented.
  • You will ensure proper communication and compliance with legal guidelines and policies within the company.
  • You will demonstrate solid crisis management skills to ensure the sustainability of the subsidiary.
  • You will maintain a relationship of trust between authorities, business partners and shareholders.
  • You will monitor the performance of the company’s activities.
  • You will be in charge of human resources management and in particular the optimal distribution of the work of executives and employees to keep them motivated.
  • You will read the performance reports to be able to anticipate any drop in yields.
  • You will assume the role of public representative and speaker of the company to promote the image of the company.
  • You will manage crisis situations to ensure the sustainability of the company.

Profile:

  • You have previously held a managerial or executive position.
  • You have significant experience in the creation and implementation of strategy and business development.
  • You have a strong knowledge of the mechanisms and events that influence the market and the company’s activities.
  • You understand the system of business financing and returns.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of corporate law and good management practices.
  • You know how to create an environment conducive to communication and good relations with employees and customers.
  • You are a leader and know how to bring the right strategic vision capable of satisfying the company’s long-term objectives.
  • You hold a Bachelor of Business Administration or affiliated field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • You have significant experience in the creation and implementation of strategy and business development.
  • You are fluent in French and English. Spanish is a plus.
