About Our Client

Our client is a French company specialises in the design and distribution of rapid tests.

Globally present with their OTC rapids test solutions. They are targeting the general public on the one hand and healthcare professionals on the other.

With an expanding range of products they are currently looking to extend their presence in the Benelux in order to sustain their future growth. To do so, they are currently looking to recruit a new Benelux Country Manager - Operational Sales Director that will lead the team & develop the organisation further.

Job Description

As the successful- Country Manager - Operational Sales Director - Benelux scope - Pharma OTC - you will have the following responsibilities:

Recruiting and managing sales forces

  • Manage the sales force in the field - currently 6 pharmaceutical representatives in Benelux
  • Daily Training of the teams
  • Monitoring results and performance
  • Organise seminars and sales meetings
  • Define the needs in terms of resources and sales forces

Define and implement sales policy

  • Define & implement the commercial strategy
  • Conduct market studies on competition
  • Translate the sales policy into actions with the teams and marketing
  • Determine the needs in terms of operational marketing and sales tools and support

Key Accounts management & Negotiate agreements

  • Prepare the negotiation strategy with marketing and management
  • Targeting and prospecting future key accounts
  • Negotiate agreements on optimal terms
  • Maintain a strong ethical and negotiation line

Reporting & KPI’s management

  • Transmit monthly figures on the country’s activity
  • Propose prospective improvement solutions to the general management

Interface with Marketing Europe

  • Ensure that European marketing adapts tools and products to the specificities of the local market
  • Measuring the impact of the marketing operations with the team
  • Inform purchasing of operations (avoid stock-outs, etc.)
  • Designing offers and promotional tools with marketing
  • Organise logistics with the customer service department

Be responsible for the budget (P&L)

  • Manage & monitor constantly the P&L
  • Set up reporting tools
  • Be responsible for the respect of the budget

Brand ambassador

  • Personalise the relationship with clients and the country’s authorities
  • Participate in trade shows and events
The Successful Applicant

As the successful- Country Manager - Operational Sales Director - Benelux scope - Pharma OTC - you will have the following requirements:

  • At least a master degree in Business Management or equivalent by experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales leadership role
  • A strong experience managing key account & groups in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Willingness to challenge yourself on a daily base and being operational on the field with the team
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical market - ideally in OTC is consider a as strong asset
  • Strong adaptation skills
  • Good analytical skills to sustain the development of the group in BNL
  • Experience managing a P&L from A to Z will be consider as a strong asset as well
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to drive business development activities
  • Fluent in Dutch & French is mandatory
