Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which is selling components for compressors within the broad European market. We are part of a large international leader within this market. Our objective is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to do service on compressors. Our customers are all small to medium sized companies, which are located in more than 60 different countries.

To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Customer Service Specialist.

Function

As a Customer Service Specialist, you have a wide variety of responsibilities:
  • Input of orders based on the daily orders we receive from our customers.
  • Create transparency by following up continuously the status of open orders, inform our customers where necessary
  • Be the central contact for your customers, concerning all topics related to open orders
  • Be the internal voice of the customer, supporting our internal organization to safeguard that orders are shipped in line with our commitments
  • Support our warehouse, give priorities, support the daily logistics activities, and safeguard our warehouse performance
  • Book & follow up on all outbound shipments, making sure all our goods are shipped with the right service and Ex-works pickups are done as planned
  • Follow up the transport performance of our transport partners, be part of the monthly performance meetings and take actions were needed
  • As customs expert, you will safeguard that all our non-EU shipments get the necessary documents like invoicing, certification of origin, etc. Within Edmac you are one of the spokespersons for customs related matters.
  • Work closely together with the other colleagues within the operations team, to safeguard the best customer service possible
  • Support further the developments of Edmac, by initiating continuously improvement initiatives
As Customer Service Specialist, you will be part of the operations team.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with a background in customer service:
  • Be pro-active & assertive towards your customers.
  • Detail oriented – to make sure each order and customer gets the right attention
  • A good communicator, external as well as internal
  • Strong in order-follow up and administration – creative in finding solutions
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function
  • Knowledge of outbound operations including customs related procedures is a plus
  • Interest & knowledge in the world of compressed air
  • Experience with Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamic Web is an advantage
  • No-nonsense mentality
  • Team-player & stress-resistant
  • Good knowledge of English and German is a must. French is seen as an extra advantage.
