Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Data & BI Engineerto join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and visualizing data that will provide clear insights to support strategic decision-making. Your work will be key in transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and process large datasets from both internal and external sources.
  • Understand and analyze the data to uncover valuable insights that can drive decision-making.
  • Design, build, and validate data pipelines on the Azure platform to efficiently gather data from a variety of sources (data engineering).
  • Focus on data visualization by developing effective dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data engineering and BI, actively contributing ideas for new tools and techniques.
  • Act as a data expert, providing advice on data-driven strategies and solutions.
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or has equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Experienced in the following technologies:
    • Azure Services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, etc.).
    • Programming languages like Python and SQL.
    • Designing and developing data pipelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a significant plus.
  • Proficient in data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, etc.
  • Capable of presenting complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
