What do you do?

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible to keep our local IT infrastructure and Cloud environment (AWS) up-and-running. This includes, amongst other:

  • Daily management and development of our internal and external services;
  • Enabling our software developers by providing the necessary tooling and platforms to run their software in an automated and reliable way in the cloud and on premise;
  • Setting up the Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipeline using technologies (such as e.g. GitLab, Kubernetes, …);
  • Constant monitoring of our services and the market to be sure that we are operate with the latest versions and the best tools (in balance with the cost);
  • Work closely with our embedded, mobile and backend developers to continuously improve the systems and deliver support where needed;
  • Assist on an ad-hoc basis with office operations (limited).

Who are you?

  • You have experience with Cloud services. Experience with AWS would be a big plus;
  • You have a clear idea when (not) to use Kubernetes, Docker…;
  • Ansible, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab,... have no secrets for you;
  • We love Java and its many frameworks, so good knowledge of Java would be a big plus;
  • You are eager to learn, have a passion for technology and are always up to date with the latest evolutions;
  • You have excellent communication skills in English.
