Position Description

Position Description

As part of Volvo Group digitalization activities we are aiming for modernization of current tools ecosystem to enable modern ways of working following DevSecOps model. Part of the transformation is focused on GitHub introduction with goal of replacing currently used within Volvo development tools. We are looking for a skilled individual to support, build and scale our release and code management processes with the usage of GitHub. This role will be in charge of GitHub product securing proper industrialization within organization. You will work closely with DevSecOps experts to build e2e integrated tools backbone looking for the best way to create enterprise level setup of the development tools.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement governance processes for GitHub in Volvo context
  • GitHub industrialization in Volvo Group IT aligned with best practices and lessons learned
  • Following best cybersecurity practices during and after SaaS onboarding process
  • Playing key role in providing best practices of the GitHub usage including support towards end users
Qualifications
  • Working experience with GitHub Enterprise during whole SDLC
  • Up to date with all new GitHub features and Microsoft roadmap
  • Practical experience in industrialization of GitHub in the enterprise environment (setting up governance, ordering process, user management, system wide configuration and policies etc)
  • Experience with massive repositories migration from SVN, GIT towards GitHub
  • Microsoft Azure knowledge (certification is a plus)
  • Working experience with CI/CD pipelines targeting multiple hosting services (Azure, OpenShift, JBoss etc.)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as a Code concept (Terraform and Ansible knowledge is a plus)
  • Understanding of core security testing areas (SCA, SAST, DAST)
  • “Can do” attitude with proper communication, presentation skills
