DevSecOps Engineer

Function description

As a DevSecOps engineer, you join our growing DevOps / SecOps team, responsible for the infrastructure, configuration, deployment, security, compliance and monitoring of our cloud SaaS offering, FastFinder. You are primarily responsible for the security side of things, evaluating cybersecurity threats, supporting architectural decisions, and defining access control policies in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 and ISO 27001). In addition to that, you will also support DevOps initiatives where automation is key.

You are an outstanding and passionate engineer that likes to go the extra mile, and expect your colleagues to do the same. Showing initiative with a proper sense of responsibility is your second nature. You are experienced in, familiar with, or interested in most of the following:

• Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Active Directory, DevOps, Office365
• Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templating, Terraform
• Firewalls, networking, risk analysis & threat modeling
• The container ecosystem: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, service meshes, ..
• Cross-datacenter high availability, disaster recovery & business continuity
• Logging, monitoring & insights solutions such as Azure Log Analytics
• Act as an authority in explaining our security & compliance strategy

You’ll work from our headquarters in Hasselt, Belgium, with an option to work from home for 3 days a week.
