To help our customers in the banking sector accelerate their digital transformation, and reinforce our growing technology team, we are looking for a digital transformation director who will lead the digital banking initiatives.

You will work together with (or as the liaison towards) our functional teams, technology and sector experts.

You will design new service offerings, follow-up on trends and sector evolutions and engage in networking activities & sector events. You will coordinate closely with all our technology centres of expertise (Digital, Data, Intelligent Automation, Cyber and Risk) to integrate an end-to-end overview of the digital solutions in Banking

You will be responsible for the end-to-end project and/or program management activities and for coaching project team members. In this role you will be the key contact at clients and represent our team. In this way, you will make an impact and realize changes into our client’s organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the further growth and development of our technology service offering in the banking sector.
• Co-develop the end-to-end solution for our clients: adapt to various client contexts, understand their challenges and define the (digital) solution to guide their transformation
• Understanding the CIO Agenda of banks and have a network with IT leaders in banking.
• Actively contribute to further growth through identification of business opportunities and support of go-to-market activities
• Compose and guide the project team to deliver the transformation project/program and ensure the delivery exceeds client expectations
• Co-animate and grow the internal digital transformation community in the financial sector (training, coaching, recruiting)

Skills & Qualifications

In addition to a Master in Sciences (or similar) you have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.

You have a broad view on the Information Technology sector & experience with CIO’s & other C level executives, and master one (or more) of the following technology key themes:

• Governance (IT, Data, Digital)
• Architecture and IT Operating Models
• Data analytics and AI
• Cybersecurity

Digital is in your DNA: you are innovative, entrepreneurial, and at ease in agile and changing environments. You are technology savvy, and have excellent change management, communication and story telling skills. You feel at best when you can co-create with clients the optimal technology solution answering their business goals.

As a team player you are flexible and you are motivated to work on diverse projects.

You have extensive experience in the banking sector in Belgium, and express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
