Core Responsibilities: The Director of Marketing and Training Neuromodulation (NMD) OUS, is responsible for providing the operational and strategic direction for all Marketing Neuromodulation activities, customers, and internal training activities in EMEA, APAC, Canada and Latin America. The role requires a deep understanding of the neuromodulation market dynamics and close collaborative partnership with the regional sales leaders, global marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure the growth and development of the NMD franchise.

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Specifically:

  • Manage a group of 7 direct reports dedicated to NMD marketing, marketing communications, sales and customer training and internal training activities
  • Assist in the development of the strategic vision for next-generation NMD products
  • Define the requirements and business cases for new products and enhancements.
  • Manage the market expansion process for the EMEA/APAC and CALA region
  • Direct market research to assess customer needs, to verify product requirements, and to evaluate design prototypes.
  • Work with cross-functional product development team and global marketing
  • Manage the launch of new products and marketing campaigns
  • Provide sales support and KOL management

  • Master’s degree in science, marketing, engineering or other related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a medical device related industry (implantable device company preferred) in a product management or marketing position with product launch experience.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/medical regulatory, quality, and reimbursement environment
  • Track-record of effectively collecting, analyzing, prioritizing, and communicating customer needs for new products.
  • Track-record of effectively leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and sales representatives.
  • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups of people
