The Details

  • You collaborate in the definition of the subsystems level architecture with focus on devices and embedded platforms.
  • You translate (sub)systems requirements into technical specifications.
  • You use and maintain the Yocto build system and develop software based on the latest LTS mainline kernel.
  • You configure the different Linux frameworks according to device specs.
  • You develop and adapt (logical) device drivers, in cooperation with expert consultants on the one hand and complex software code and unit tests for Linux on the other.
  • You document the developed software and provide support towards QA testing.

About You

  • You are an experienced embedded software developer with skills in C, C++ or another Object Oriented Program language.
  • You have (broad) knowledge of Linux environments and frameworks such as ALSA, DAPM, network manager, GPIO framework,…
  • You have experience with build tools such as Yocto, Source code control (git) and continuous integration.
  • Experience with audio communication and processing is a plus.
  • You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and international team to combine different technologies into a performant & configurable system.
