Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Finance Directorfor a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the automotive sector.

As Finance Directoryou will be responsible for:

Financial strategy & analysis

  • Revenue & COGS in different business units. Profit analysis by products;
  • Risk and opportunity in global business, and propose action plan the management to achieve financial target;

Business & Budget controlling

  • Develop and support annual business plan and strategies;
  • Develop procedures and controls to grow its business in an efficient manner;
  • Lead the preparation of the company’s budgetary programs & analyze budget variance;

Management/Accounting Closing &Tax & Statutory/Internal audit

  • Annual and monthly financial planning and forecast;
  • Annual Month-end closing and financial reporting;

Reportings

  • Support the CFO in the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans and any ad-hoc reports;
  • Organize and ensure the financial reporting;

Team Management

  • Manage all finance members. (Controlling team & Accounting team);

Other : Liquidity management, Accounting &Tax & Statutory/Internal audit

  • Maintain the timeliness and accuracy of customer invoices and payments;
  • Cash flow plan & strategy;
  • Ensure full transparency on the company’s financial performance;
  • Tax declaration (VAT, CIT, TP, etc) & provide legal and tax watch;
  • The company’s annual reports / external and internal audit.

The required profile for the Finance Director position:

  • University degree, preferably with a focus on financial economics or higher education;
  • Minimum experience in Finance : 15 years, preferably in a medium/large international operating company;
  • Experience in automotive sector;
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations;
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in French & Dutch & English;
  • Very good knowledge in SAP (CO/FI/FM).
