Our client is an international company that is active in the FMCG-sector. For the Belgian entity they are looking for a new Financial Controller.

Our client is an international company that is active in the FMCG-sector with a strong position in the South-American market and now also an exponential growth in Europe. They are known for their imaginative and vibrant creations that delight people worldwide. The main focus is on innovation to meet diverse consumer tastes. Sustainability and quality are key priorities in their production processes.

For the Belgian Entity they are looking for a new Financial Controller that will work very close with the Country Manager. We are looking for someone with an experience between 2 to 5 years and is ready for the next step in a growing, dynamic & interesting working environment!

Description

  • Oversee monthly closings and report key KPIs like revenue and costs.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts with input from relevant teams.
  • Analyze budget deviations and report insights to management and HQ.
  • Manage accounting closures, draft the Balance Sheet, and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor cash flow, prepare reports, and assess investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and supply chain to track KPIs and ensure cash flow.
  • Coordinate with external advisors on taxes and regulatory matters.
  • Supervise credit monitoring, reduce DSO, and optimize working capital.
  • Handle administrative reporting and respond to special management request

Profile

  • Master in Finance/Business/Economics
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience
  • Fluent in English in combination with a fluent level of Dutch or French
  • Analytic skills
