Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to strengthen the team in the operational heart of the company: Merchant Operations. This department is responsible for a range of operational processes, ranging from daily statement processing, data entry, remittance handling, file handling, chargeback & disputes, and much more. Confused by this specific terminology, do not worry! We will explain what this all means when you join our team. Curious about our department yet? You will be a part of the Finops team of 4 Financial Operations Specialists. As with every team, our team is only as strong as the weakest link, therefore, you must be able to work well in a team, have a strong team spirit, and love working together with your colleagues. Together we can make it happen!

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• 
  You are the trusted and go-to person for any question related to merchant full service financial overview (Incoming transactions, refunds, chargebacks, payouts, reporting…). More specifically, you will take up the role as a 2nd line financial specialist, supporting our customer service (admin & tech).
• You run analysis, partnering with teams internally and acquirers, to help the comprehensive and detailed understanding of merchant’s full service financial situation.
• You are responsible for the comprehensive daily monitoring of merchant’s negative balances across the IFS portfolio.
• You are responsible for taking actions on negative balances – collection of data and decisioning on contacting sales/merchants to recover negative balances. You initiate and manage stakeholder contacts.
• You assure a clear and transparent reporting towards the management and key stakeholders.
• You assume responsibility for financial operations activities that you will complete precisely, flawlessly, and diligently.
• You work directly with the wider Operations Team, Sales, Acquirers, and senior Management for coordination of the full process.
• You will assist in the design process of ways to automate the work to ensure we scale with the business.
• You contribute to the departmental SLA (Service Level Agreement).
• You love working in a team but are not afraid of taking a decision yourself.
