We are recruiting: an F&B oriented Qrew member to join our vibrant, successful and passionate team at Qbic Hotel Brussels.

As our one team member you will be able to serve both Qbic and Motley guests in a fun, innovative and engaging way, while displaying your own unique personality. Confidently managing the guest experience, while selling our menu and hotel services with a natural and soft-sell approach. Work in very close collaboration with other hotel departments as one team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome and serve the guests efficiently with a smile, advise them and give correct recommendations regarding food & drinks
  • Ensure that at all times, our guest receives the attention and standard of service they are entitled to and also expect
  • Organize the set up before the service in the bar, restaurant, conferences and banqueting rooms
  • Take part in the cleaning of the furniture and materials of the F&B department
  • Prepare drinks at the bar
  • Taking orders and payments and ensure all money and financial transactions are handled accurately
  • Learn and understand the operation of systems related to your function
  • Take initiatives and be willing to learn
  • Ensure work areas are functioning as required and associated supplies/equipment to meet the demands of business levels are available and in working order
  • Work in very close collaboration with other hotel departments as one team and reporting to the F&B Manager
  • Conscious committed towards the environment, neighbourhood and the companies wish to lessen our carbon footprint in how we operate
  • Strive to become an expert in your knowledge of the local area and tourist information
  • Adhere to the standard of safety, hygiene and cleanliness laid down by the law and the company policies
PROFILE:
  • Outgoing personality, open minded, positive attitude and flexible
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent appearance and excellent social skills
  • Available during week-days and weekend-days and this on different shifts
  • Good communication skills in English and French (Dutch is an asset)
  • Well organized and punctual at all times
  • All employees must ensure a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times
