What’s the scope?

As our forecaster you are responsible for the development of a monthly forecast on style/color level for the countries/customers assigned to you. In this role you’ll work closely together with sales / merchandising and operations to build a forecast both on prebook to achieve the financials and to define risks and opportunities when comparing operational with financial forecasts. In addition you will need to work closely with the inventory planners in view of placing final buys at vendors.

As our Forecaster Leeyou will;

• Handling demand planning (= forecasting) for Lee both on country as account level (Zalando/Amazon/…) supporting sales and merchandising on important growth initiatives
• Prepare and participate in seasonal forecast review meetings with the merchandising team and the sales team on the initial forecast on key-account / country / pre-book and at once level to understand the collection and the product & market growth initiatives
• Sending out key account reports on monthly basis, containing the product forecast and discuss risks and opportunities with key account managers & sales managers as preparation for the financial forecasts.
• Support the Lee forecast manager to prepare monthly financial forecasts and identify possible risks and opportunities.
• Give the needed input to the Lee forecast manager in order to prepare the monthly at once meeting and distressed meeting to discuss at higher level with senior management on the position to take in replenishment forecasting
• Prepare and participate in line cleaning meetings and status review meetings together with merchandising/sourcing/sales and DTC team by analysing the collection on production feasibility/efficiency.
• Back-up of the sizing specialist who defines the sizing type to be applied during the different stages of the demand and buying cycles.
• Support the further development of logility demand planning and forecasting database.

Skills for Success:

• or someone with experience in supply chain , operations or logistics
• A few year experience in supply chain/operations would be a plus but also starters with the right skills could be selected U
• University Degree (Applied Economics, Economics, Commercial Engineer) is a plus
• Accurate with numbers
• Analytical mind
• Good communicator and team player
• Flexible
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Experience with SAP , Logility Demand Planning and Power BI is a plus
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
