If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.Job SummaryAs the Director of Finance, you will collaborate with the Hotel General Managers and the Aimbridge team to oversee the financial operations of the Marriott properties in Ghent. This includes preparing budgets and forecasts, as well as managing the sales ledger and payroll.At the hotel level, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of hotel assets and reporting the financial state of the hotels to the GMs. You will also provide recommendations to improve hotel profitability. As the primary contact for all financial and accounting matters, you will liaise with owners, Aimbridge, and auditors, both internal and external.JOB REQUIREMENTYou will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business / Finance, a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred. You will also have a minimum of 3 years experience within a Finance Management role at Hotel level, ideally within a branded environment.
