Job description

We are currently working with a client based in Belgium who is looking for a City Manager with strong FTTH experience to join their team. Our client works in the construction sector and is open to accepting both freelance and permanent applicants for their roles. Freelance contracts would be long-term.

There are several roles for a City Manager in different locations around Belgium and The Netherlands. These locations include: Brussels area, Flemish Brabant and South Netherlands.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Follow-up, reporting and keeping lines of communication open regarding the roll out of the FTTH network in one or more areas
  • Organise and prepare the sites for work
  • Manage the site managers progress on certain activities (welding, cabling of buildings etc.)
  • Attend or lead consultation meetings with local clients
  • In contact with the city / municipality / police to collect necessary information (e.g. permits, blocking excavations etc.)
  • Follow-up on the implementation of street and site surveys to ensure high quality and a smooth process

Your profile:

  • You have previous experience as a project manager, ideally in the field of cable, fiber, telecoms etc
  • You have previous experience working on Fiber / FTTH projects
  • You are fluent in Dutch & English (the position in Brussels will also require professional level of French)

Rate/ salary:dependant on experience
