Full Stack Engineer - Ghent - Data Analytics

Our client is a startup based in Ghent looking for a Full-Stack Developer proficient in Ruby on Rails for platform is designed to boost productivity, leverage on data and save costs for their customers operations on every level. The ideal candidate will have an intense passion for startups and a demonstrated track record of delivering cutting-edge products.

A successful candidate will have an established background in developing scalable mobile and web applications, a strong technical background, a passion for great software, strong organizational aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a history of developing code in a fast-paced environment with creativity and exceptional analytic ability.

Your Profile:

  • You have multiple years of experience developing web applications and APIs with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with React is a strong bonus
  • Develop relational databases including MySQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Work with web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms.
  • You bridge the back-end/front-end knowledge gaps for your colleagues, having a holistic perspective.
  • BS degree in Computer Science (or you’re just really good).

Bonus Skills:

  • Microservices such as: AWS/Docker
  • Understanding of design patterns and software architecture
  • Someone who can speak French or Dutch is a plus
  • Interest in Functional programming

Package:

  • Between €3000-€6,500 Gross (dependent on experience)
  • Hybrid work location (on-site/remote).
