Based in Brussels, Belgium, and staffed by 2.700 people and more than 60 nationalities, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) handles the wholesale marketing of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, parts & accessories, and manages Toyota’s European R&D, manufacturing and engineering operations.

For TME Graduate positionswe are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
- Permanent contract
- Daily position (as described down below) + 18-months training program (on top of the daily job)

- Classroom training (Toyota Way, Toyota Production System…)
- Experiential training (5-6 weeks Line training at an European Manufacturing Company…)

Your Profile:
Personal Skills:
o Good analytical skills & motivated to work at Gemba
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Handle job with care and precision, in-line with deadlines.
o Good coordination, organisational and communication skills.
o Passion for ‘Customer First’ and Kaizen.
o Ability to use Excel (Power BI, asset)
o Fluent in English (any other European language is an asset)

Globally produced vehicles to our European markets/retailers.
Locally produced vehicles to our global markets.
Installation of customer accessories.
These vehicles arrive from the different manufacturing plants to our strategically located hubs (logistic centres) where they are stored, customized, inspected and transported to the next delivery point (port, intermediate hub or retailer).
All operations are completed by Logistics Providers (LP), with a team of Toyota members ensuring consistency of direction and the achievement of customer requirements.
Department Responsibilities:
2. Ensure that the factory fresh quality is preserved throughout the Logistics movements.
3. Implement Improvements (kaizen) across major missions of Safety, Quality and Productivity in Logistics processes and for the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI)
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the sustainable implementation of new procedures and standards.
- Proactively improve the existing standards, to close safety, quality or productivity issues.
- Monitor the standards by audits and work with HUB members to countermeasure non-confirming items
Transport Safety
- Make in depth study at the source (Gemba) to identify Safety Risks
- Ensure all necessary Safety measures are defined and agreed with HUBs and Logistics Partners and documented into clear Standards
- Monitor that Hubs escalate all incidents and hazards are raised on time.
- Coaching of deep root cause analysis through go and see with the objective that HUB operations reach interdependent level for Safety awareness.
Transport Quality
- Through early detection of quality issues, make structured analysis and identify root causes.
- Take ownership and define solutions to countermeasure issues.
- Ensure sustainable implementation is done and validate on site
- Ensure all quality standards are followed by Logistics Partners and proactively update if any gaps.
- Support new projects and routes to assess quality risks and define processes to prevent.
Environmental
- Study and support implementation to improve environmental footprint of operations and comply with Company Strategy
KPIs and Reporting
- Responsible for the creating and presenting Safety, Environmental & Quality reports with KPIs and summarising status.
- Reporting to senior management on a frequent basis.
