Group Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Ghent, Belgium / Benelux (Flexible)
Finatal is partnering with a leading European manufacturing and distribution group, as they enter an ambitious phase of growth and technology transformation. With revenues of €750m and operations across 20+ countries, the business seeks a highly experienced Group CIO to lead their technology strategy, oversee ERP implementation, and drive the integration of new or acquired businesses. This is a rare opportunity to shape the technology landscape of a market-leading organisation and deliver tangible operational and financial impact.
Role
- Lead the development and execution of the group’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee ERP implementation programmes and integrate new businesses through M&A activity.
- Drive operational efficiency and EBITDA impact through technology initiatives across manufacturing, conversion, and distribution.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess, adopt, and optimise technology systems and processes.
- Establish and maintain technology governance, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions across multiple sites and countries.
Requirements
- 20–30 years of senior technology leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in ERP implementation and business integration.
- Experience shaping technology strategy to deliver operational and commercial impact.
- Local market knowledge of the Benelux region, with flexibility to be based in Belgium or the Netherlands and on-site presence in Ghent 2–3 days per week.
- Fluent in English.
