About Biolectric:

️ The future is green! ️ By turning methane gas out of manure into electricity and heat, we’re shaping the future of agriculture.

Our company is a participation of Ackermans & van Haaren and has been growing tremendously the past 2 years (+50% y-o-y)
For this, we’ve been predominantly leveraging a unique product developed by our R&D team, supported with great service and sold from Italy to Japan.

With some freelance help and under command of a series of extraordinary interns, we built a website, shot customer testimonials, gave press interviews & developed trade materials. To bring the company to a next level, we’re looking for someone to leadour Marketing and Communication efforts across 10 countries.

1. (Brand) Strategy

• You create and implement a general marketing strategy that fits the profile of Biolectric’s customers

2. Communication

• Develop and maintain press contacts in key countries, write press releases

• Update website (Wordpress) and social media (Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram)

• You create content (video, photo, text, testimonials,…) which can be used across channels and audiences, based on a well thought-out content plan.

• You coordinate the presence at fairs and events. Sometimes there is also a touch of "getting your hands dirty" involved

• You monitor and implements the corporate identity

• You design, develop and order gadgets and business gifts

• You tackle the questions from your colleagues from the sales department and support them where necessary.

• You design graphic elements, visuals and print materials to reinforce your message

3. Growth Marketing

• You develop campaigns (offline and online), from idea to realisation, aimed at our specific audience.

• You experiment with and make use of the latest tools and technologies for lead generation (SEO, SEA, Social media, email or events)

• You analyse the data from campaigns and website and you adjust where needed.

About you

• You hold a master in (Commercial) Engineering, Marketing, Communication or equal by experience.

• Creativity is your middle name and you are able to generate stylish and professional content. Therefore, knowledge of the programs of the Adobe suite (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro and Photoshop) will be considered as a huge plus!

• You have notions of CTR, CPM, CAC, CRM and want to learn more on how to effectively target, reach and convert an audience

• You speak fluent Dutch, English and French. Italian, Japanese, German or Polish are a plus.

• You work systematically and have a keen eye for detail. You have an education in Marketing and/or Communication or relevant experience and feel confident to take up this crucial role in our company growth

• You find it challenging to analyse our marketing approach and are creative in finding new approaches to improve our company branding strategies. Switching between strategy and implementation comes natural to you

• You have a smooth pen and effortlessly shake swirling texts out of your sleeve. Spelling mistakes or grammar errors are not for you.

• You believe in your expertise and you can convince colleagues that your ’out-of-the-box’ idea will work

• You have a growth mindset and are enthusiastic about exploring the world of our farmers and our technology

• Colleagues see you as helpful, flexible, proactive and a source of knowledge and expertise!
