To accelerate our Digital transformation, we are looking for a Head of IT Global Business Solution who will Support the Aliaxis global strategy thru leading and orchestrating the next generation of applications that will improve customer experience, accelerate innovation and provide performance management solution resulting in a higher impact on society and customers.
The job holder will partner with the regional IT Business Partners, Global functional leads, IT Infrastructure and operational staff to promote the optimal portfolio of solutions and technology that will accelerate the execution of the new strategy while remaining compliant with our network and security requirements.
This role is based in our Global HQ (1050 Brussels).
Reporting into the Group Chief Information Officer, you will have the following responsibilities:

Strategic guidance:

• Reconfigure the application and data architecture & portfolio to capture and leverage external best in class practices with internal regional experiences and priorities
• Offer expertise and support to the regional teams to accelerate the execution of the regional IT strategies
• Identify opportunities to leverage modern IT capabilities (Factory 4.0, Analytics, customer platform...) that support the digital ambitions of Aliaxis
• In close collaboration with the ERP Project Leaders, define and implement the support model for our ERP system
• Update current practices and embrace the new role as a customer centric guide and trusted advisor that supports the regional strategy and prepares for the future growth engine
• Handle strategic vendor management
• Actively support the business & Regional IT BPs in defining and implementing suitable governance mechanisms
• Lead the Global Business Solutions team to create a value add, productive partnership with and across the regions
• Promote and actively support business alignment across the regions
• Promote and actively support the required discipline around application portfolio management (lifecycle management, operational monitoring usage…) across regions
• Lead the EA council to define and promote the relevant standards and principles to drive the reconfiguration of the portfolio of applications
• Establish and communicate the overall Enterprise application architecture
• Assess New technology/service definition to best support the our business strategy with a priority on customer/ innovation platform, Factory 4.0, performance Kpi’s…
• Manage and optimize the operating model of global IT services (global data platform, Workday,..)
• Oversee Global Business Solutions planning and management (budget, workforce)
• Define and provide Kpi’s to help the regional IT BP assess and mitigate IT risk, measure performance, and identify opportunity to improve efficiency of their application landscape

Governance:

• Actively support the business & Regional IT BPs in defining and implementing proper governance mechanisms
• Lead the Global Business Solutions team to create a productive partnership with and across the regions
• Promote and actively support business alignment across the regions
• Promote and actively support the required discipline around application portfolio management (lifecycle management, operational monitoring usage…) across regions
• Lead the EA council to define and promote the relevant standards and principles to drive the reconfiguration of the portfolio of applications
• Establish and communicate the overall Enterprise application architecture
• Assess New technology/service definition to best support the Pegasus ambition especially for customer/ innovation platform, Factory 4.0,…
• Define and manage in collaboration with the program teams the set-up and support level/organisation for global services (workday, Global Data platform, …)
• Oversee GBS planning and management (budget, workforce)

Performance monitoring:

• Define and provide Kpi’s to help the regional IT BP assess and mitigate IT risk, measure performance, and identify opportunity to improve efficiency of their application landscape

Requirements:
Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Master degree (preferably in Engineering/Computer Science/Business Administration). Additional Master in Enterprise Architecture is a plus
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a senior or executive role in a large multinational
• Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change

Functional competencies:

• Strategic thinker who has a proven track record in leading transformational projects in a complex environment
• Thorough knowledge of all components of technical architecture.
• Thorough knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
• Thorough understanding of business operations, objectives and strategies ideally in a manufacturing industry
• In-depth understanding of application architecture.
• Understanding of change management techniques
• Proven experience in raising the maturity of organization, processes and technology from basic and disparate to the most appropriate level in a pragmatic and consistent way
• Broad understanding and ongoing curiosity of digital transformation technologies and their impact on traditional business structures.
• Excellent business acumen (business case, value proposition, ROI...).
• Past experience in implementing Technology and IT solutions that deliver Operational Excellence, improve Customer Experience and accelerate Innovation
• Familiar with the Industry sector and its specific challenges
• Fluent in English, another EU language will be appreciated (French/Spanish/..) .
• Strong communicator that possesses a heightened sense of situational and contextual awareness able to deliver the message clearly and concisely to a diverse audience
