For our office/site in Antwerp we are looking for a

HR Business Partner (F/M)

The primary purpose of this role is to plan, direct and execute human resources activities to strengthen and develop the operational and strategic liaison between HR and the business.

YOUR PERSPECTIVE:

• Creation, optimization and implementation of HR initiatives and change processes for our biggest production site in EMEA with 350 employees
• Collaborating with the Site Leadership Team, Regional and Global Managers to provide meaningful solutions, ensuring that they are well equipped today and for challenges of the future
• Advising on local labor law regulations and guiding / coaching leaders through conflict handling
• Partner with the Management and HR Expert Groups (Recruitment, Talent Management, Compensations & Benefits) across all organizational levels on the entire employee life cycle
• Effectively collaborating with the European HR Team, sharing best practices and exchanging on new ideas and initiatives
• Driving projects using structured change management methodologies, to achieve results according to global HR policies and build acceptance of change

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master’s degree in human resources, business administration or economics with at least 10 years relevant working experience in an internationally operating company, ideally in the chemical industry
• Experienced in dealing with works council / union topics
• Detailed understanding of the Belgian labor law regulations
• Experience in the planning, development and implementation of projects in various areas related to HR
• Assertiveness as well as finesse when purposeful compromises are necessary
• A strong communicative team player with high social skills and the ability to operate across the matrix and at all levels
• Business Fluent in Flemish and English are mandatory, any other European language is a plus
• High IT affinity (MS Office, Success Factors…)
