Job Description
As the HR Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping a positive and productive workplace culture. Leading a dedicated team of HR specialists, you will serve as a pivotal link between management and employees, ensuring seamless communication and fostering an environment of trust and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include managing employee relations, driving transformation programs, implementing HR policies and acting as a key advisor to management on all personnel matters. Additionally, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle, conduct workforce analysis, and ensure the accuracy of personnel records and budgets. You will also play a crucial role in building a performance-driven culture, managing external partnerships, and representing management during social audits. Acting as the HR Business Partner for white-collar employees, you will work closely with the plant manager and the Management Team, driving HR projects and tactical decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of three HR specialists to achieve excellence.
- Cultivate positive employee relations and proactively resolve conflicts.
- Implement and ensure compliance with company HR policies.
- Provide expert advice to management on personnel and leadership strategies.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management.
- Conduct workforce analysis, manage budgets, and maintain accurate HR metrics.
- Champion a performance-driven culture across the organization.
- Manage and nurture relationships with external partners, including payroll providers, insurance companies, government agencies, and unions.
- Represent management during social audits and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
- Serve as the HR Business Partner for white-collar employees, aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in a generalist HR Management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with trade unions and staff delegations, with in-depth knowledge of the Belgian social legislation.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while effectively managing your own priorities.
- Experience in driving transformation and change management initiatives within an organization.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in employee cost budgeting, HR metrics analysis, payroll management, and performance management processes.
