Recruitment, Absenteeism, Training & Development.

We are welcoming candidates located inBelgium/Francewith a specialism within one of our Human Capital key areas.

Travel is required for this role

For one of our customer’s operations, we are looking for a Human Capital Specialist. Our customer is a Top 50 Fortune 500 company in the high-tech industry that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include cloud computing, software, and hardware. Working as a Human Capital Specialist

The Human Capital Specialist will be supporting the Human Capital Team responsible for all sites EMEA-wide. As a Human Capital Specialist, you will be the backbone of your country and its’ local workforce next to being the specialist in one of the Human Capital areas of expertise.

In the role of Human Capital Specialist

Support the customers and our performance-based culture across the regions.

Provide support in all Human Capital initiatives including performance management, new hire orientation, the annual review and compensation process, retention strategies, rewards and recognition programs, employee relations, Human Capital administration, and various other human resources issues.

The HC Specialist will also act as a go-to person for staff in the regional offices with respect to the issues.

You will be responsible for day-to-day HC tasks as well as being an expert in your specialism.

Training & Development Specialist role

  • Experience in Training & Development is required
  • Responsible for building mindset and personal development training in close collaboration with the Human Capital Expert and in direct alignment with our headquarters GXO in Eindhoven.
  • You are a strong business partner to the rest of the Human Capital Team for all Training & Development related topics.

Absenteeism Specialist role

  • Absenteeism you are also responsible for case management absenteeism EMEA in challenging cases, in direct alignment with our headquarters GXO in Eindhoven and the Absenteeism Specialist GXO EMEA wide.
  • You are a strong business partner to the rest of the Human Capital Team for all Absenteeism related topics.

Recruitment Specialist Role

  • You are also responsible for Employer Branding and our Employer Value Proposition
  • Direct alignment with our headquarters GXO in Eindhoven and the Recruitment & RPO team working GXO EMEA-wide.
  • You will be able to secure the right talent for your local sites, but you also are a strong business partner to the rest of the Human Capital Team for all Recruitment related topics.

Your tasks also consist of

  • Interprets Human Capital and Company policies and ensures adherence to them.
  • Interprets Recruitment Company Policies and ensures adherence to them.
  • Support the site management and leadership with the Mid-Year and Year-End Performance Management Program for cities within the area of responsibility.
  • Provide assistance to all involved parties with base pay and incentive compensation adjustments and reviews.
  • Assists in providing recruitment-related support to Human Capital Programs such as the Performance Management Program.
  • Support Human Capital Initiatives including retention strategies and mentoring.
  • Support with coaching all management & leadership to become more effective leaders.
  • Responsible for orienting individual employees and conducting exit interviews.
  • Provides support to handle employee relations matters, consistent with company policy guidelines.
  • Assist with various Human Capital projects as assigned.

Your qualifications

  • Human resources/human capital experience including employee relations preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, human resources/human capital or related field preferred.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities and teams
  • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a confidential environment is essential.
  • Excellent organization skills - ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum direction.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and database skills.
  • Good understanding of human resource laws and regulations of the country you are located.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze compensation data.
  • Ability to travel within regions for team-building purposes within the Human Capital Team.
