Job Description

Logistics activities have been growing steadily in recent decades and are becoming increasingly important to most organizations. E-commerce, just-in-time inventory management and the proliferation of sales and supply channels have also made them increasingly dependent on IT.

We, at Oroxilia, believe that combining IT expertise and thorough knowledge of the logistics processes is key to help our customers reaching excellence in logistics. This approach has made our success in the pharmaceutical industry and allowed us to develop strong long-term relationships with our customers.

We are seeking an Operations Manager to take responsibility for Evolutive Maintenance Projects, Customer Service and Technical Support of WMS implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for a growing team of 5 engineers and customer service agents. You’ll be in permanent contact with Oroxilia’s customers and will report directly to the CEO.

Our ideal candidate is a hands-on manager who shares our passion for making our customers daily work easier and more efficient.

Work organization is flexible (homeworking is often possible) but implies visiting customers in Belgium and Netherlands and an occasional physical presence on our Moroccan facilities (Mohammedia).

Objectives of this Role

· Develop a deep understanding of customers stakes and processes

· Ensure Customer Service and Technical Support (niv 1, 2, 3)

· Manage evolutive maintenance projects (Connections with new commercial partners, processes optimizations, new warehouse, etc.)

· Maintain a close relationship with customers and ensure customer satisfaction

· Optimize tools and organization to ensure SLA and reduce costs

· Ensure internal and external reporting

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

· Manage Customer Service and Technical Support team

· Monitor Service Levels

· Take part to operations : Manage projects (evolutive maintenance); write functional specs; conduct integration tests and assist customers in UAT; provide coaching and assistance to the technical support team

· Impulse and lead internal projects to improve organization efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in IT or Management

· 7+ years in warehousing activities

· Strong understanding and interest for logistics/warehousing processes

· Strong focus on quality

· Excellent practice of spoken and written French and English

(Dutch is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong project management (PM) experience (certification is a plus)

· Experience with WMS, ERP and BI Software

· Excellent communication skills, empathy

· Technical knowledge (iSeries, SQL, .Net) are a plus
