Located in the Brussels airport business park, Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels (SAESB)provides MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) services for LEAP-1A and -1B aircraft engines. SAESB is being transformed; the workshop is evolving from a heavy maintenance engine center (Overhaul) to a LSO base (Targeted technical intervention workshop). In other words, the objective is to carry out limited technical interventions on the engines in order to prolong and maximize their use.

Are you looking for an intershipand interested in reviewing and adapting the needs for consumable products (such as greases and sealants) in light of the new workscope and the reviewed capability list?

Brief description:

Currently, we still have consumable products on shelf for engine types we do not have the technical capability nor workload anymore. At the same time, we are missing sufficient products to face the current workload. The main objectives are:

  • to review the current products listed in QL038
  • to define the need for these products based on technical analysis
  • to define stock management procedures (based on supplier lead times and on shelf life)

Tasks:

  • Verify engine OEM documentation and check with product applicablity
  • Evaluate supplier lead times
  • Evaluate shelf life
  • Define stock management process
  • Define reorder points and process
