About The Job

In the role of Inventory & Deployment Manager you will steer and coach the Deployment & Inventory Officer team. This team is responsible for the correct and timely flow of products towards the distribution warehouses, the correct stock management of these warehouses and production registrations of the third-party manufacturers (3PM). You will also participate in supply planning projects. You are part of the Plant Based Supply Chain tea and report to the Int. Customer Service Manager.

You will steer and coach the team of 5 Deployment & Inventory Officers. In such, you will actively support the team in their day-to-day tasks, coordinate deployment projects and maintain a helicopter view on overall inventory health. Some of your responsibilities are
  • You coach and support your team and follow up on the growth and development of your team (identifying training needs, development talks, …). You are the first contact point in case of question on processes/procedures (SAP, …). You step in where needed to guarantee the continuity of all activities.
  • Ensure that the team’s internal customers (CBU/customer service, warehouse, transport, …) have a correct stock view and that they are informed in an excellent way on exceptions/changes occuring in the processes.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture within your team, analyzing the why and how of tasks being done. Identify improvement opportunities and lead supply planning projects (on-time delivery, CSL improvement, scrap decrease, working capital reduction, network optimization,...)
  • Build and/or maintain KPIs and reports to follow up on deployment activities and inventory status and where appropriate take action together with the stakeholders involved (blocked stock, scrap, freshness, truck fill rate, …)
About You

To be able to achieve the above and be successful we believe you need to have
  • A Master degree (engineer, TEW,...) or equivalent by experience.
  • High affinity in supply chain with 3-5 years experience in an international context.
  • Having a first experience in coaching a team is a plus.
  • The ability to work cross-functional and look for compromises.
  • You have a dynamic and enthusiastic personality, you like to take initiative and can work independently
  • Good knowledge of SAP MM + SD is an additional asset.
  • Project management skills and a structured approach.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You are a strong communicator, in Dutch and English.
