IT Application Support Analyst

As a member of the RUN IT department, you act as an intermediary between the business key users, the Local IT department, the competence centers and the software delivery teams to maintain the global IT applications ensuring that we meet the business objectives and the needs of all the users.

Your tasks

  • Take up support-related activities regarding global IT systems and business-related processes, in close cooperation with the software delivery teams and infrastructure competence centers, in order to provide key-users and end-users with the most efficient and user-friendly tools and processes.
  • Capture and assess change requests (CR) from key-users and decide on next steps to ensure the system optimally meets the needs of the users.
  • Based on in-depth knowledge of applications and business flows identify opportunities continuously to improve working methods and procedures to achieve more efficient and better results.
  • Provide training sessions, information, and documentation to users to guarantee a sufficient knowledge of existing or new applications and functionalities.
  • Guarantee the set-up of support topics by participating within broader IT projects (e.g. roll-out of applications, development of functionalities) to contribute to the implementation of the general support objectives set for mateco.
  • Update and maintain own knowledge, insights and technical skills regarding the relevant IT systems and business processes, to maximize expertise and apply this optimally within the organisation.

Your profile

  • Desired level of education: Bachelor or equivalent through experience
  • Good knowledge level of O365, D365 FO and CE
  • Computer knowledge/ current software packages
  • Accurate, methodical and committed
  • Customer-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical skill set with a flexible attitude
  • High proficiency in English
  • Number of years of experience required: at least 3 years.
